At Connecticut College, my teaching each semester included three courses for the French Department, from the introductory level to a seminar for juniors and seniors. I first taught French as an assistant instructor in Princeton’s Department of French and Italian. I’ve been lucky to teach at a wide range of levels, including not just beginning French but also basic literacy in English at the elementary school level. Following my graduation from college, my teaching experience began with a  year as a volunteer tutor for AmeriCorps, followed by a year of substitute teaching and tutoring in Virginia.
